I have been playing the piano since I was a child. I studied mostly classical, and got a minor in music at University.

Sometime in the mid 2000’s, I looked around for voice lessons (in a vain attempt to make my singing voice not quite as unpleasant), and took a few lessons from Leonard Patton. Leonard introduced me to the world of Jazz, in a way I’d not seen before. I began taking lessons with various teachers.

Over the years, I’ve attend both the UCSD Jazz Camp, and Jamey Aebersold’s Summer Jazz Workshop, and learned a lot from these.

I will try to periodically tag postings with the Jazz tag.
